A future of the world in 100 objects.....by Reset featuring Justin Bere’s HRV filter

Reset have created this beautiful Manifesto entitled ‘a future of the world in 100 objects’ which features a filter removed from Justin Bere’s Heat Recovery Ventilation system.

The manifesto is intended to be a forwarding-facing version of the BBC’s ‘A History of the World in 100 Objects’

‘RESET is asking you to propose an 'object' that represents what you think we need to get us to a future beyond oil dependency, to a future that is in tune with natural processes. Feel free to interpret 'object' in whatever way you like - process, system, component, practice.’

The featured filter, selected by Henrietta Lynch, was used in the Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) system installed at The Muse, our low-energy office and Justin’s home. The filters remove many of the impurities present in the London air which have recently resulted in smog alerts (see our pervious blog post on 12.04.11)

The filters at The Muse are replaced every 3-4 months and were last changed on the 12th July. These filters showed a surprisingly thick build up of particulates. A future blog post will cover this in more detail.
