Whitehill Bordon Eco-Town Sustainable Housing

It has just been announced that bere:architects, in collaboration with the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment, have been shortlisted in the Whitehill Bordon Eco-Town Terrace Competition to design three zero-carbon terraced houses on the northern edge of the newly designated South Downs National Park in Hampshire.

 

The Larch House has won the Low Energy Social Housing Project of the Year at the Sustainable Housing Awards 2011 having been shortlisted within a strong field of finalists. 

The Sustainable Housing Awards, organized by Inside Housing magazine and its sister publication Sustainable Housing, focus on the best green social housing projects constructed in the UK and the organizations responsible for them.
